It has been years.
I haven't even posted any of my art on here, but my presence here is usually that of aimless browsing through art of current obsessions. 
Winter seems to be the time that brings me to Soul Eater. It first entered my life and the end of January, 2012, and I began watching the anime that January 27th. I can't even recall for the life of me why I started watching it again last week (Major ADD here), but I did. And it's back. That obsession. 
The nostalgia it brings with it is immense, I miss those simpler times. So much has changed since I first stumbled across it (here on dA of course). I have thus begun dispensing large sums of money to acquire the rest of the manga volumes that I did not currently own. Ah the things fandoms drive us to do. '

I don't know if anyone will read this, or if anyone is even around on my page to do so. But perhaps I will look upon this Journal 6 years in the future and sigh as the pain of nostalgia drags me back onto it's shores. 

Since my obsession is at an all time high, why not answer some questions about Soul Eater?

1. Do you prefer the Anime or the Manga?
    Honestly this one is tough. Since I first watched the anime, it will always have a special place in my heart. It's a fantastic show. The voice actors and animation really make it special. I guess for story purposes the Manga wins here but the Anime did a really good job bringing it to life, so we'll say YES to the first 35 episodes.

2. Would you be a Meister or a Weapon?
    This is another tough one. Being a weapon would be pretty cool, but Maka is so badass... I want to be her.

3. Favorite character?
    Maka. Hand down. It's not everyday you see a female lead in a shounen, especially not an amazingly strong female lead. She goes through so much but never gives up. I just wish she'd give her dad more chances HE'S TRYING OKAY.
I also love Soul, Stein, DTK (who doesn't???), Shinigami-sama, etc. etc.

4. Least favorite character?
    Excalibur. Need I say more?

5. Favorite episode?
    34 and 35. I have vivid recollection of watching these for the first time. I love the island and the snow. It's also the end of the canon episodes *sigh*. (I especially remember Maka's adorable outfit, can I have those earmuffs please?)

6. Favorite Chapter?
    Aside from the aforementioned fight, I love all the casual chapters that just show Maka & co. being teens in Death City. Studying for exams, having friends over, playing basket ball, etc. It's nice to see what goes on in between the missions and the fighting. (Unrelated but this is why harry potter and the HBP is my fave)

7. Your favorite pairing?
    MAKA AND SOUL UGH. Maybe it's for the best *sigh*.

8. What's the weirdest pairing you can think of?
    .... Black Star and Medusa came to mind for some reason? Why would that ever be a thing tho, but can you imagine hahahahahahaha.  I wish I had never been born. 

9. Who's the best villain?
    As much as I hate her, probably Medusa. She's totally insane and crafty and smart and persistent. Also a totally binch. I don't like you Medusa. 

10.  Which scene was the most heart wrenching?
    That one scene when Soul is holding a seemingly dead Maka. You know the one that everyone first saw in the second opening and though Maka would die? 
Anything that involves causing pain for either one of them because the other one is hurt etc. kills me ;-; Also that one scene when Maka races to find the witch that stopped her soul protect, and Soul runs after her. She then puts her hand on Soul's chest where his scar is... sad.
Also the first episode made me cry when I first watched it, when Maka is yelling at Soul about men always cheating? Yeah. I was 12. 

11. What's you favourite quote?

Literally all the time, as much as I can. Many many hours a day.

Hmm, considering its 2013, nope.

I never actually want to talk to people, it just happens.
